Practice Pads SNARE DRUMS
This
drum is made with a plain amber or stained shell, with red or blue hoops. This model may be
accquired as shown, in Civil Air Patrol colors and with your state's identifier
on the ribbon for an additional cost. This drum may also
be ordered with the regulation U.S. Infantry or Artillery blazon, or with
the Confederate shield on a blue or white background.
The tone of this drum is very crisp and the smaller size makes for easy carrying. The standard Indiana
model drum comes in a plain maple varnished shell with bright red hoops
and 8 small oak-tanned leather ears. Two lines and a circle brass tack
design complete the finish of this attractive instrument. The drum may be ordered
as shown with the Confederate shield on a blue or white background, or
with the regulation U.S. Infantry or Artillery blazon, at an additional
cost.
Bright red hoops on a cherry-stained shell and the Soistmann brass tack design are standard with this drum. A "snare fastner" (as refered to a strainer in Elias Howe's book of 1861) is included as an added convenience, they were not always on the origninal drums. Order code: ISOI $395.92 This drum may be orderd (as shown) with the federal eagle beautifully emblazoned on the shell with the U.S. Infantry on a blue background. It is also available on a red background for an Artillery drum, or a Confederate shield on a blue or white shell. Emblazonments are available at an extra cost: Order codes: ISNF $455.92, ISRT $455.92, ISCB $455.92, ISCW $455.92
A period bracket and hook strainer is standard on this drum. This drum is finished
